A full house in Hertfordshire, completed in 2025 - living room, kitchen, dining, a home office and two bedrooms, built around a Japandy sensibility: Japanese restraint meeting Scandinavian warmth.
A pale wood kitchen island anchors the open dining and living space, with a fireplace and a single armchair doing the quiet work of a reading corner rather than competing with the sofa for attention. Sliding doors and a mirrored hallway keep the sightlines open from room to room.
Upstairs, the two bedrooms take the same language in different directions - one leans into green and wood together, the other stays closer to a Japanese palette, with a large pendant light standing in for a ceiling fixture that would have flattened the room. A custom wardrobe and a small home office complete the floor.
